came to us on New Years Eve 2003. I Fred, manage a pet shop. On New
Years Eve we only had one chinchilla left over from the
Christmas holiday. I played with her all day and she just sat on my
shoulder and cuddled into the nape of my neck all day. That was it I
was hooked. I took her and a cage home.
We thought and thought
to find the right name for her and I had recently seen one of my
favorite movies, "Houseboat", starring Cary Grant and Sophia
Loren. Then the inspiration came. Ms. Lorens' character was named
Cinzia, so the name stuck!
Since then we have acquired many other chinchillas but we always
find our first to be the special one!!! |
